Term:Corymb
Category:Non Grassy Plants - Flowering Stalk
Description:An inflorescence that consists of many flowers borne on stems of varying lengths so that all flowers are level with one another making a “flat top” appearance. The various flowering stalks arise from points higher and higher on the main stem but are shorter and shorter so that all flowers are on the same level or side by side. A corymb is similar to an umbel but an umbel has all stems arising from the same or nearly same place on the main stem.
